But its not an opinion that you shouldnt play a game you think is sh!t. You admitted that it is and yet you played it. When the PS4 comes out you will relise you should have just played the games you enjoyed as platenums dont last forever. And anyway seriously what do you gain aprt from the graphic saying you got the platenum from playing a game that you hated?

I might be on a different planet but i thought the whole idea of gaming was to enjoy rather than to boast to people you got platenums on games you hated.

Well, people did use to enjoy the games, but the achievements/trophies brought out a competitiveness in gamers that make them those kinds of "whores."

Okay, first off its platInum not 'platenum'. Secondly, ITS ALL OPINIONS! I like getting trophies as it gives me a sense of achievement, you may not agree but its my OPINION. Just as you don't go for trophies that seriously doesn't mean i'm not allowed to. Also, if you don't like getting platinums why the hell are you on a trophy leaderboard?

Well, forgiving the fact that your sentence doesn't make much sense, and the fact that 10 is the highest difficulty and not 1, it would be difficult for a select few people to manipulate the results.  First, I've heard Wipeout is a very difficult plat to get, so voting it very difficult would be exactly what most people would do anyway, so the result would be accurate.  If everyone that got a plat voted it really easy (not sure what the point of that would be) everyone who thinks it's hard as hell will vote it higher.

However, the logic I think you are trying to get at is more suitable when looking at a game like Terminator.  I suppose if everyone got a platinum in Terminator and wanted to look better by voting it as really hard, it could skew the results far worse than the Wipeout scenario.  However, for statistical purposes, you have to assume that a decent percentage of people are honest and would provide a reasonable vote.

 I am not trying to be number one.  Is there a prize?  No.  I do like to see how other people are doing and where I fit in, though.  I'm comfortable with the size of my e-penis.

Lol e-penis. I see what u mean about people lying about how hard a game is just to make them look good. But i don't think everyone would do that. Only a select few. So the majority would make 4 or 5 people not really even matter if they said a games difficulty was like an 8 and everyone else said it was a 5.

Also, I've seen other sites that rank platinums based on time consumption, difficulty, etc. One of these is the "Trophy Review Board" on Playfire. People can write up their own reviews and rank each stat.

i like the way ps3trophies.com does that. And if we start that ranking system here it could be a monthly thing instead of weekly like someone said before. Forgot who=P
