Ive got a question regarding online trophies, here i go:


If i wanted to go on GTA single player could i still unlcok the trophies even if i wasnt signed in to PSN?

Yes.

You do not need to be connected online to unlock trophies in a game.

You only need to connect to synchronize them if you want other players to see them..



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

yes you can play offline and collect trophies. Then just sign into the PSN and click your trophy collection icon to sync your trophy status with Sony's servers online.

Hideok does that all the time :P

I see him signing on and off lol...

I am pretty much always on the PSN ( even now while I am at work my PS3 is probably still connected).

Congrats dude you beat me to it, I managed to get my Eye Of Judgment Platinum trophy this morning. It really is countless, i had no idea how many victories I was at, lost count long ago.

Congrats dude you beat me to it, I managed to get my Eye Of Judgment Platinum trophy this morning. It really is countless, i had no idea how many victories I was at, lost count long ago.

Did you have to get the trophies for all 3 sets ? ( ideally you shoudn't as set 2 and set 3 are expansions..)

Yup. Got 3 last night, and a few over the weekend. Think I got a Burnout trophy on Friday.

So 142 is definitely more than I had last week, but less than I had yesterday. Actually, now that I think about it I did get at least 2, maybe 3 on Monday night, so maybe you pulled my info prior to that?

I really hope Sony creates some kind of API that can pull trophy info to view online. That would make things so much easier for everybody.

Actually, maybe it's something silly like I didn't synch my trophies. You'd think the system would handle all that for you, but who knows.

 

That could be the issue. After the next update, check to make sure that I have the correct trophy amounts. If it's off again, I'll have to do some investigating.

ok thanks guys i was just wondering because my friend seems to be getting lots of trophies and hes only online for 10mins and yet hes getting more trophies than me. Two can play @ that game. hahahahahahaha

Thanks rukusa. I enjoy doing the update everyweek...even if it does take close to 2 hours to do. When doing the update I get the chance to see how people are progressing in certain games that I'm playing too. I also get the chance to play around with some different stats, like the ratio of points to total number of trophies.

I'm not sure if I had to have them as I had them all before the platinum
