Hey guys anyone have the DNS trouble? Iv looked up various troubleshoots and none have the problem i seem to have :/ neva had this problem until my 3rd ps3.

Basicaly i cnt get the internet to connect bcoz of this error but the strange thing is i can still use the internet Browser etc it only affects logging into my account which is fustrating. Also it randomly likes to let me sign in, then wen i try to sync trophys it will say dns error but still be connected :(

Any help from previous experience wud be appreciated and dont bother with the ask sony, internet search etc iv tried that lol

I have that problem when i'm in a game and i have to sync about 10 or more trophies at a time

I had the same problem for about 3 weeks until someone sent me this link and it fixed it

Yeah for now.... I played it non-stop online for 3 days after work. Was definitely having a lot of fun and I got General rank very quickly. In the end I was hovering around top 5,000 worldwide for the week. I needed to get into the top 1200 for the top 1% though and I didn't feel like killing myself the rest of the week trying so I put it down and relaxed & caught up on some blu-ray movies instead.

I'll wait for the next map pack and maybe I'll give it another shot for the top 1%.  If more people are playing maybe I'll only have to get in the top 2000 or top 5000. But I doubt 500,000 people will play it in a week when there are only a little over a million registered online currently.

Would like to eventually play it on Elite too, but right now there are so many other new games coming out I'd rather play the next 2 months. It's ridiculous!   This isn't the holiday shopping season, but this is the best summer for sheer number of quality* game releases that I ever remember.

*quality at this point  is still subjective. still need to wait on more reviews for games like Red Faction, Prototype, Ghostbusters, Fight Night Round 4, 1943, Fat Princess, and Trine.

Without going for the top 1% there are still a lot of badges to get before that though ( and a lot of them are not compatible with getting high scores for top 1%).

Getting in the top 1% is only going to get harder. As you mostly have people that play the games a lot online these days...

Ail is right when i got in top 1% i played between 3-5 hours everyday and ended up in 1200 weekly rank.

Yeah right now it looks like you need over 5k pts/week to reach the top 1%, and that's not going to happen playing search and retrieve or assassination...

U must try and find servers with 15min missions atleast.

yeah the 1st 2 weeks would have been the easiest. i easily got top 5% playing only 2 nights the first week. too bad RE5 came out the following week or I would have kept playing Killzone. Its going to take some all day marathons to pull it off now.

The top people average 13,000 points in a single day in Killzone. I have a little over 3,000 points the whole time I've played. lol

Nah the trick is to have body count and head shots medals and play only body count games...
