Well I gave MLB 09 The Show a try and while I can see that it's a good baseball sim, that game is just not for me....

It has a very steep learning curve and I'm not a huge enough baseball fan to want to invest countless hours to learn how to bat or pitch :(
Not having the manual due to the game being a rental sure doesn't help either...

doesnt gamefly have an option to view the manual online?

They give you the controls and that's it.

And making good reliable pitch or batting well is really hard and actually requires a lot of practice...

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Yeah MLB 09 don't look all great for me lol

My refurbished ps3 should come back in the next few days, all my saves are gone which is alright since I don't mind replaying some games again except in gta4 I was 3 pigeons away from 100% so I won't touch that again. Feels like I haven't played for a month so I'm looking forward to getting familiar with a ps3 controller again.

PS4/PS3/PC/3DS Owner (Will buy a Switch when mainline Pokemon game is released)

Damn man that sucks with gta

Really sorry to hear that dude. I was wandering why I haven't seen you on PSN in ages.

It shows you last logged on 25 days ago.

Got my 7th platinum last night, as I completed X-Blades before I went to bed. To anyone who rents or buys the game for the trophies, I suggest playing on Easy at first to get used to the game and then play it on Pro on the second time through to get the rest of the trophies. Make sure you buy all the Dark spells the first time through so you don't have to on the second playthrough (good ending is gotten as long as you don't buy a single Dark spell). It's not that bad of a game and I'd probably give it a 5 out of 10, since the controls and camera are not that good, plus it's kind of short.

How long is the game?

I would say around 6-7 hours the first time through and then 5-6 the second time.

Oh ok well I'm gonna try it out
probably rent it
