WOW 42!? Nice. I currently have 26 PS3 games (not counting PSN games). At the end of my PS2 generation I owned 43 but that was over 6 years of collecting.

My buying has definitely slowed down with Gamefly rentals, but at the rate I'm going I might top 43. I still like to own all the AAA games that have lots of replay value and support the companies that really deserve it.

Yeah, I've gotten a lot of games via cheap deals.  For instance, I got 3 games in the Best Buy sale for $10 each...  cheapassgamer finds me a lot of good deals, but it also costs me money :P

And you have 42 PS3 games?! Damn! I only have 10 myself and only 3 (2 soon enough) don't support trophies. My younger cousin has 4, I think, PS3 games and only 2 support trophies. If I had my way like I did with the PS2, I'd own a lot more games (I have 178 PS2 games and like 112 PS1 games).

Well, I returned Far Cry 2 today without even completing half of it. Its just too annoying having to drive 10 minutes to play a mission that lasts 1.

So it would take me like 60hs to finish that thing. Maybe some other day I will give it another try.

I did rent LOTR - Conquest. Can anyone help me with the MP trophies?

PS - Actually,another question. This game has splitscreen. Can I create an online game just for me and the 2nd player and boost for trophies?

Nope.

There's only like 4 online trophies you should need help for,

those are 

- Get 25 kills with the warrior in a ranked match

- Get 15 kills with mage lightning in a ranked match

- get 10 kills in a row without dying as the witchking in a ranked match.

- kill 30 enemies in a ranked TDM

There are some DM/TDM trophies that do not require a ranked game. ( kill 20 with Gimli or Legolas)

You can actually get those locally playing against bots handled by the computer .

Go me! I just got the LBP Platinum; my first platinum trophy too. I'm happy. =D
