Ah, I've been playing Resident Evil 5 all weekend. It was so much fun. I beat the game once on co-op on normal in 10 hours and beat all the mercenary stages once on co-op. Next I will do Veteran and then Professional difficulty. I would have played Veteran first for the increased challenge, but I want to get the most plays out of this game b/c I enjoy it so much. RE4 is one of my favorite games of all time.

You can get all the trophies by playing co-op except the very last one I believe. The one where you have to get Sheva to trust you.

To save the special someone you have to "work together". (SPOILERS) One person has to "hold" that special someone while the other has to "pull". You have to be standing. The trophy will not unlock if one person pulls from the ground. I didn't get it my first time either for this reason. Just keep pulling from the standing hold and you'll get it.

You can get the stab the heart trophy with Chris. He pulls out his knife for a ground stab when hovering over that enemy type while its on its back. Just keep replaying sections with those creatures to get it.

Also is there anyone that wouldn't mind helpin me get my last few lord of the rings trophies? All i need is the 25 kills with warrior, 10 kills with Witch King and capture 10 posts in conquest and i can get all 3 depending the level. If anyone can i'll help them with their trophies

I got both playing the game solo.

I am actually having fun playing the game solo ( never been much into co-op).

Only done 2 mercs maps so far because it's taking me forever to S-rank them solo.( finally S-ranked the first one, only have A so far on the second one).

And KylieDog i see you got the jumping headshot majini trophy how did you manage to do that and how do you deflect a bow with your knife cuz i cant seem to do it and is the gattling gun the one on the back of the war hummer???

I say if you are playing just for trophies all those games arent that quick to platinum, lol.

Mercs2 is pretty time-conduming cause you need to do all kinds of things to get all trophies. Soecially traveling around the map. It takes time and if you die (doesnt happen a lot- a little toward the end if you are a seasoned player) you have to travel all over again.

I have been playing a lot of Mercs2 since last Wednesday and I think by the end of today, i will only need the billion dollars trophy, which does take time too.

So I suggest you try some other game. I platinum'd Uncharted, Dead Space and CoD-Waw. They are relativetely quick to platinum.
