Random speculation: Do you have PS+? Maybe it's some goofed up issue with Cloud storage.

I do have PS+. I just edited my previous post with my details. I think it may be a patch for GoW:A, but PS+ normally downloads and installs patches. Patches never appeared in the XMB like this before.
@Arcturus Hmm, can't say I've ever experienced that issue before. Best advice I can offer is see if Sony's website has some troubleshooting tips.
I'm still working on UMVC missions. 15 to go. These are a lot harder than I thought they would be. Hsien-Ko and Taskmaster's missions were such a pain to finish.

Yes. Shall I give it a shot?
So, I attempted to install the files. After they reach 100% I get message saying that an error occurred during the install operation.
The second file is a patch for Scott Pilgrim Vs the World. It was one of the PSN games I was testing earlier this week. When I go to launch the game, a receive a message saying that the latest update was found (version 1.03). When I click OK, it goes through the same process to install the patch, but it fails at 100%.
Hope this doesn't start happening for all games...

Might be something goofy to do with the 4.45 patch if you have or haven't installed it.
I've definitely encountered a couple cases where I tried to install something and it just left the icon there.
I think Minis and PS1/2 Classics are the only things that remain after installing them. I never had a PS3/N game still there after installing it, so that's definitely weird.
For those of us who wants to cut the Last of Us platinum to 2 playthrough:

Thank god, finally beat Guero In Uncharted Golden Abyss on crushing. That QTE boss fight is such BS.

I think I had a worse time on that on my first playthrough. Maybe I was so used to losing the first run that I learned the pattern better for crushing.
