Mine was only bad in certain DLC missions.  Mothership Zeta and I think the Pitt were both flawless.  Had freezing problems in the other 3 though.

On the PSN thing, I've heard several reports of people that have already found credit card charges relating to the hack.  Not sure if it's true or not, but this is why you should use temporary credit card numbers for crap like that.

There are thousands of people every week that are victim of identity theft and fraudulent credit card charges, every one of those that had a PSN account is going to say it was because of the breach. There isn't much Sony can do about that...

That's why I never bothered to use my credit card on PSN for anything. If I ever bought anything, it was either through PSN cards or by getting a download code from Amazon.

I don't have any issue ordering from the web with my card and my wife does that on a daily basis...

It's my bank and my credit card's company to job to monitor my cards for fraud  ( at least it's my position) because if something bad happens they will be the one paying for it, not I.....

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

I guess the PSN downtime isn't affecting me too much, since I don't play many multiplayer games.

Anyways, Fallout 3 GOTY freezing has started to annoy me to no ends now. The game froze up on me like 3 times yesterday, so I'm pretty much saving every time I do any progress. I have managed to finish two of the DLCs (Operation Anchorage and Broken Steel) and am currently on Point Lookout (discovering all locations before I start with the quests). I guess I'm saving the other two DLCs for last because of the collection trophies associated with them.

Also, I need to stop buying new games! I ordered Splatterhouse and Enslaved from Amazon yesterday for like $30 total (Splatterhouse is like $17 new there for now, for anyone interested), plus I know I'm going to be getting Infamous 2 in June when it comes out.

Fallout 3 froze for me constantly with the DLC, i didnt have the GOTY edition i just downloaded them off PSN but i remember it freezing at least 10 times during operation anchorage and countless more during the other DLC.  A friend told me that being signed out of PSN helped but i really doubt that if you are having issues with PSN completely down.  it was really annoying

Signing out of PSN worked wonders for me.

Considering that PSN is down and I'm still having freezing problems, then there isn't much to say about that :P Anyways, I finished The Pitt last night and barely had any problems (game was really laggy to the point I needed to reset) with that DLC, but Point Lookout, Anchorage and Broken Steel froze on me a couple of times each. I just hope that Mothership Zeta goes without a hitch.

Mothership Zeta wasn't too bad glitch wise.

Yeah, apparently credit companies are now saying they haven't gotten any reports known to be a result of the PSN breach, so it's likely anyone we've heard claiming charges had a coincental theft.  Either that or they are using the PSN breach as an excuse to rack up a bunch of charges themselves.

*IF* anyone got my card data off of PSN, I hope they enjoy the current 20 cent limit associated with it :D

Hmm, Mortal Kombat seems to be going up in price since release, not down, this isn't how it is meant to happen!

You'll be able to get it over here for $30 at Toys R Us next week if you can find there magazine that has a $10 coupon in it.

Either way, it's going to be one of the longest ass plats on the system.

Getting bored of playing Mirror's Edge even though I'm so close to finishing the time trials with 68/72 of the stars That along with no more KZ3 online i've decided to buy a SP game so i went with Dead Space 2 which i've been meaning to buy but was waiting for a price drop first but you can't have everything :P

just a quick question but do game updates need psn to update, i only ask because i reinstalled the orange box on my ps3 to play some portal to get back in the swing of things for when i get portal 2, and it had an update.  wasnt sure if it just needed an internet connection or if it needed connection to psn, or if it was on the disc or something

You do not need PSN for game updates just an internet connection and I have done updates recently since PSN has been down so no worries

since PSN is off I can´t go on my quest for the online kills to platinum bad company...

then, since last wednesday  I´m back playing cross edge (don´t ask me why... I looked to my games, and it called me). from a list with ~180 itens, now "only" 50 missing....

right now farming for 43 rusty hammer, another item from a monster that never appears and only give me 1 or 2 when it shows.

LOTS OF FUN!! ¬¬

Wow... Psn being down sucks. I wanna get back to raping people in Black Ops
