I think I have a total of 45 hours logged onto the game (on my main account), although it's much more than that because I used a self-boosting method to get the 250K Create XP/Level 30 trophies. You basically make like 10 sub-accounts (you don't need that many, but it's recommended) on your PS3 and download your creations from your main account to get XP, then when you go through all 10, go back to your main account and unpublished/republish all creations and do it all over again.

You get a max of 50 creation slots relatively early (60 open at level 28 and 70 at level 29) and you get 120 XP for downloading and viewing per creation, so a total of 50 creations would net you around 6,000 per account. It takes 250K XP to reach level 29 and another 250K on top of that to reach level 30, so if you stick with 50 creations and don't add anymore, you're looking at cycling through 10 accounts a total of 5 times. It takes like 10-15 minutes to download/view all 50 creations, plus another 5 minutes to switch accounts and start up the game.


Conclusion, it took more than enough. right

They get a bit longer, but the story itself is only like 20 hours, across something like 11 or 12 chapters, if I remember correctly. The bulk of the play time comes from doing the 101 side missions and playing the dozen or so mini games.

As I have realised, my biggest issue with the game is too many things keeping a japanese name.  You'll get the name of a shop and be clueless what it actually sells unless you bother to load into the store and then try buy something.  Would it be so bad to just name it 'Jewellery store'.

 


UGH! I hate when they do this in games or even movies (mostly anime), it's like when people try to use Japanese honorifics in english speech - it drives me up the wall.  if you are translating a game translate it 100%!  I know there is a small crowd that wants it halfway in japanese so they can feel superior, but otherwise...UGH

After ME2 i was thinking about getting another adventure RPG type game, and i was thinking Yakuza 4 i havent played any others in the series would i be missing out bad by not catching up?

Being on the same generation is 3 heavily tied into 4, or can i just skip that one as well as i hear 4 is a lot better than 3?

Brink is on my radar. Looks like a cross between Mirror's Edge with how your can traverse the environment and Team Fortress with the class based multiplayer.
