Went back to NFS last night and im with Hideo if KZ3 is a 2 star NFS is definatley a 3, the later challenges require almost perfect driving to win, and the rubber banding is insane.

A race that Hideo and some of my other friends had got gold on, i was beating there race time by nearly 30 seconds and i was still unable to beat the AI, alot of it seems to be downing to making sure you have a ton of boost left for the final straight. 

Stil i want to get the plat as for its few faults i still think its a fantastic game.

haha it is insane rubber banding i remember having 200 meters to go in the last race and the AI flew past me when i was way ahead lol,14minute race coming down to the last few 100 meters annoying or what

When did you join the league? If it was after Jan 4, 2011, that could be why. I'll have to see if there is an easy way to add people to that leaderboard if they join after the start date.

Seems like the new seasonal leaderboards have really added fuel to the fire for new people to top the leaderboards and possibly join the league. Noticed more posts the past few days... maybe as a result.

Rubber banding AI is so annoying. The key I think is to save that boost for the last half mile and especially the finish. I've lost 10 minute races at the last second before. So frustrating. I also can't stand the race mode where when you hit a wall it adds 2 seconds to your time or graze traffic it adds 3 secs. Taking a break again from the game for now.

But watch out! I'm going to pass by you on the new leaderboards too, just as fast I passed all your times in Need for Speed. haha

Hate to brag but I passed you in KZ3 leaderboard !!!!

I hate rubberbanding AI in racing games, although it doesn't seem to be THAT bad in ModNation Racers (a few races in Career Mode have it), considering I have won some races with a 20-30 second lead.

As for how close I am to the platinum for MNR, I have two more challenges left on Career Mode, as well as two more Grudge Matches. After that, I need to find the rest of the tokens during the races (easy since you only need to finish the race to make them save) and sideswipe 75 opponents. For the online portion, I need to win an XP series (hard to boost with all of the good racers out there) and get 100 online wins, which is easily boostable.
