The Darkness was one of the first really good PS3 games I played and since it wasn't a huge commercial success I never thought I'd see a sequel.

Dead Nation patch out today. Yay! It's the patch that adds voice chat to the online (mainly why I've been putting it off), checkpoint saves, and the ability to backup your save. They also tease some further surprises. Not sure what they are yet/

Sadly, the jump from bronze times to gold is ridiculous. I've heard since 1.07, they raised bronze times, but kept the gold times the same, so it's even more ridiculous now.

However, I think this solves one of the biggest complaints with these events: before the bronze times would be so bad, that it'd be hard for people to bronze the events and get an X2010 so they can practice for the gold times.

hello fellow gt5ers. i got bronze as well using a dualshock. but thats it. im sick of trying getting gold with a controller! I was just buying a wheel when my tv  broke down. so no ps3 gaming for a while for me now.

That sucks... Though if you bronzed Suzuka before 1.07 with a DS3, well, that's pretty impressive. Hope you get your tv fixed and that wheel soon!

I enjoyed the darkness aswell underrated game IMO 

 

And now you are getting me excited for the sequel ^-^

Display setting options...up the gamma with display boxes to try get right.

Laser sights for each character different colour.

Laser sights can be bought for SMG, shotgun and blade cannon

You can now see stats from you games like kills, vehicles blown up, levels you found all loot/armours on,

You can no longer shoot cars that are not on screen.

Copy saves

Bombies are easier to tell wen they about to explode.

Health meter flashes red when damaged

Thanks for the list. I patched it last night, but didn't play it yet. Looks like it some nice additions.  Did you ever up the brightness to help with seeing stuff? I forget if I calibrated it to a symbol (so that you can barely see it) but I remember struggling sometimes to see some enemies too.
