So now I've been relaxing (after Dead Space 2 hardcore) and I've playing Killzone 3 on "normal" and playing some mulitplayer too. So far I've only died once in the single player campaign. It's really EPIC and I'm liking the story so far. It really feels like a WAR.

As for the multiplayer I was off to an amazing start. I used 3 skill points on perks right away that I got with my pre-order and put them into the Infiltrator class.

I had the first 2 perks which gave me the ability to go into disguise and not get seen by turrets or bots or anyone. The only way I could be spotted was from medium range. Up close I was in disguise. With a shotgun equipped I went on a 17 and 2 kill streak on my very first match. Wow, if only I could keep this K/D ratio going the whole game! Yeah right... I also got awarded a ton of bonuses for most kills, most kills in disguise, most melee kills, etc.

I played one more round and owned again, going 15 and 3 deaths. Clearly I had a good strategy going. I think it helped that the maps were small and close quarters corriders too. After my 2nd match I had enough points decided to upgrade to the 3rd perk of Infiltrator which allows you to melee someone and not lose your disguise (the disguise shows you as someone on the other team, it even changes your name), however people will now see through your disguise from close range.... ok... then how do you stay disguised during melee?

BIG MISTAKE. I can't stand it when an upgrade makes things worse. Now I could no longer get in close to melee or shotgun someone without them seeing me. So it effectively makes this class useless at close range! Only good to melee someone close range and then a person farther away wouldn't see you as opposition I guess. Man, I wish I could take back that upgrade. My K/D ratio quickly plummeted. The only way this class will be good again if I purchase and start using a medium to long range weapon. Then people won't see me as opposition from that distance.

So my tip is to wait to go to the 3rd perk upgrade in infiltrator until your ready to go into longer range shooting with better gun. If I could take it back I would always keep it at the 2nd upgrade with the shotgun. I prefer this up close and personal play style better. Maybe I'll delete my multiplayer game data today to start over unless these upgrades get saved server side. They probably do along with the rest of my stats.

Also I've got almost all of the multiplayer trophies already. They are easy. Only one I'm missing in the starting trophies is to play a match in a squad. And the extra trophies with the Retro pack I just need two silver trophies which are to kill a bot, turret, and drone in one match. And the other trophy is 15 kills in a match with a secondary weapon. It's called Little Big Weapon.

May I ask how long does each match last around?

^ Depends

If it's just a bodycount with Guerilla Warfare, they can last anywhere from 5-10 minutes.

If it's a Warzone match that can last up to 30-45 minutes I think, if every objective takes the full 5 minutes to complete.

If it's a Operations match that usually is around 10 min.

Warzone will be the best mode for me to attempt the last 2 extra DLC trophies I need.

Finished up warrior mode on NGS2 and currently working at mentor. Mentor difficulty isn't quite as hard as I thought it would be but it's still pretty tricky. The team missions are going to take a while but I've cleared everything up through mentor and even completed a master and ultimate challenge. Ultimate Ninja mission 1 is a bitch and a half. I can see why this is a 5 star plat.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

TES V - Skyrim Trailer came out:

Because paying full price for a game is a stupid waste of money?

Mentor is basically same as Warrior but now they do more damage. Master ninja can get quite frustrating since its 1 grab kill.

I suggest practicing Mn3 before u take on Un1. There u will fight all the bosses 1 by 1, here u should try and learn all their moves and how to dodge them.

I've decided to take a small break from Dead Space 2 before I attempt hardcore mode. In the meantime, I've switched back to playing Dead Space Extraction. I'm playing through again on Impossible, which isn't really that difficult. I've managed to 5-star 8 of the 10 levels without much effort, so it should be fairly easy to 5-star the remaining two levels with a few more attempts.

I'm definitely not looking forward to the collectable trophies though :/  Some of the text and audio logs are on the screen for a split second, and if you miss them, you pretty much have to restart the level.

Yeah I won't have Dead Space 2 plat by Tuesday.

I'm only up to chapter 8 on Zealot and I spent last evening on GT5..

Got my rollover trophy why trying to gold Daytona in Nascar Serie...( that wasn't the plan)

Gah I hate that race. I won every race in the serie easy except that one. The AI drives so bad, half the time I get into a bad crash within the first five lap....

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
