When they claim, as the motto says, the PS3 - it does EVERYTHING, they simply had LittleBigPlanet 2 in mind. Seriously anyone with a copy of this game has pretty much just joined the game industry as a homebrew developer.

Anyone, like me, getting this first before Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2 (I'm real excited about those two 2s too)?

I'm getting ME2 today i going to make sure i get that plat,being trying to finish batman but i don't know why i keep losing interest in it.

Getting Little Big Planet 2 first as well. It's in the mail, hopefully will arrive today! Waiting for a price drop on ME2 and since its a year old game that should happen relatively fast. I think you can buy it on 360 for less than $20. Also way more excited for LBP2 at this point, I loved the original.

Going to take the time to make a good level too. I heard you have to spend a full 24 hours in create mode for a trophy so I need to make that time worth it!

You made any levels in first LBP before? If you really want to make a level, 24 hours goes by quick. Act of creating takes time if you're real into it. Took me a whole week just to put together a rather mediocre platformer. I can't wait to take a look at CREATE mode in LBP2. I really hope it's got lots of functions yet not too complicated to use. But probably need to collect a significant number of prize bubbles first.

In terms of trophies I think getting in the top 25% on the leaderboards for a level may be a little tricky, but hopefully getting the game early will give some advantage to that. Acing 10 levels in a row could be a fun challenge too. Hopefully it's gonna be a 3-star rating Platinum like the first one! =P

Never played on PC or anything?  It definitely plays a lot better than the first one, so you aren't missing much if you didn't play it.  I heard they finally fixed the speed of the planet mining minigame... that was probably the only thing that annoyed me.
