So I went to Gamestop before dinner... traded a Super Mario Galaxy and a Super Paper Mario (with no inserts/instructions) and I get Red Dead for $20 + tax tomorrow when I pick it up, along with all the various free stuff it comes with.  Works for me.

And another one for the backlog? I fear I've started walking down the same path, and if GT5 does release this winter I wont be playing another game for 3 months minimum. >.<

You guys are talking a lot these days hehe a lot of reading everytime I visit...

 

reading what Mastervg wrote makes me want to try the WKC platinum... :(

so many games. but who knows... in my vacation in july I´ll try to play only it.

 

I started Heavy rain today.. ok... I got sleepy. not much going on in that game uh?

also almost finishing FF XIII and trying rank up everybody to rank C in super street 4.

Was playing GoW1 earlier, is a fairly easy platinum and requires 2 playthroughs at most (and considering one trophy is beat the game in 5 hours...says enough for the length).  As a guess I'll say GoW2 looks the same.

You're not going to beat the game in under 5 hours on your first playthrough...

Basically to beat the game under 5 hours you skip all upgrade chests and you use one of the reward you get from beating the challenge of the gods ( which is unlocked by beating the game..)

Yeah, you're probably not going to beat the game your first time in under 5 hours. Once you beat the Challenge of the Gods, the cow costume (infinite magic) makes the under 5 hours trophy so easier.

It's a fun game, but the huge amount of grinding would put many people off (I tend to like those huge grinding games for some reason).  It's probably a lot tougher now for people starting out, but getting to GR9 or so is the biggest hurdle of the game (probably getting to GR10 is the biggest hurdle actually).

Heavy Rain is a notorious slow starter, but once it picks up it's well worth it, trust me.

new trailer for Tomb Raider: The Guardian of Light looks amazing! So excited for that game now. Reminds me of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. That's one of my favorite PS2 games.

Also finally got platinum in FFXIII last night. Thanks to everyone again for all the helpful tips. It definitely saved me a lot of time. As it is my final playtime was 98:56. A few times I forgot to pause the game letting it sit in the menu while eating dinner though so its not entirely accurate.
