I wouldn't say it makes it too easy.  More like it makes things like attempting different tactics easier while removing the frustration of starting from where you were 15 minutes ago.  Wouldn't it be annoying to get into a battle and realize a different paradigm would be much more useful?

Speaking of paradigms... could they not have made it where it stored your sets for particular teams?  The fact that it doesn't is just annoying.  It makes me never want to change my team.

The only one that really had hours long battles was 12. They had way too much of an MMO feel for that game.

Ugh 12. MMO formula in a single player game just doesn't work.

Plus I hate MMOs. With FFXI and FFXIV I feel like I've been robbed of a proper numbered FF.

Beat the final boss with 5 stars on the 1st and final form first try the other night. Total gameplay time was only 42 hours. I think thats the shortest amount of time I've ever put into a Final Fantasy game to clear it the first time.

FF7 was around 75 hours first time. Probably well over 200 played maxing everything out. I had 5 full sets of master materia. lol.
FF8 was around 70 hours first time. Pretty sure I went over 100 later.
FF9 was around 65 hours first time. I think I played until 90 after.
FFX was around 50 hours first time. 135 hours total maxing everything grid and stat out and clearing all the monsters in the arena.
FFXII was around 65 hours I think... ah so forgettable that one. Maybe played to 75.


How many more hours do you think it will take me to reach platinum in FFXIII after beating the game? I've only 5 starred the first 16 monster hunts so far. Only have 1 class max out with 3 characters. Thanks!

It will probably be around 80-95 hours. It takes a long time to get the treasure hunter trophy.

I'm 100 hours in the game and i have 4 Trapz i guess i was farming in the wrong place lol.
I guess another 20 hours for plat.

I am going to try for a Bioshock 2 platinum since i have all of the online trophies. Only thing I'm worried about is hard mode but since i will have vita chambers on it shouldn't be to bad.

Ugh im getting aggravated... the Mw2 map pack was supposed to be released at Midnight. then they changed it to noon.... now its 3!!! wtf!!
