By the way, the weekly update will be happening tomorrow regardless of whether or not we get the script working again by then.

Yeah. Demons Souls is one long plat. But it is an awesome game, Arcturus. You will love it.

I suggest you go to this website - http://www.demons-souls.com/wiki/

Its not the best wiki for the game, but it will help tremendously. Read it all, cause the one flaw in thi sgame is that it doesnt explain anything to you. This will really help you.

Thanks, marciosmg. I'm already well acquainted with that website! I had so many question after playing it for the first few hours. That site helped explain a lot of things that I probably wouldn't have understood until many more hours into the game.

Man, Dinasty Warrios Empire is a bit of a pain.

I did all of the scenarios and need about 20 battle with characters (though they are easy and quick). I still need to buy all bonuses to get the last gold trophy.

I need about 16,000. MasterVG, I think it was you who platted this game. If I play a scenario again will I still get a bonus for beating it or was it a one time thing?

The bonuses you get from clearing certain things and the scenarios are one time only, so you'll need to do some of the little things in order to get the rest of the points to get the rest of the things bought.

Yay, FFXIII just got delivered... now if only I didn't have work to do...

@mattbfg
Funny, I was thinking the same thing about getting your dog tag first!! And then you'll never get mine!!!
I'm just going to spin round and round in circles so it will be impossible for you to sneak up on me for a knife kill. Then I gun you down instead. haha

So far I've got about 5 or 6 knife kills. 3 of them were in a row. for those I snuck behind 3 people who were camping and sniping and I took them out one by one within 10 seconds. It was so rewarding to get them all without any of them spotting me. I hate campers.

And so far I've only given up my dog tag once while I was disarming a bomb. Then again I've only played 3 matches online. Did finish up the single player last night so I expect to be online tonight. I'll be gunning for you mattbfg... even if another guy is right in front of me and your far off in the distance

I just started playing Demon's Souls this past weekend, and I'm enjoying it so far. I've played a total of 5 hours now and I've only earned one bronze trophy so far :( My trophy progress is going to slow to a crawl over the next few weeks.

Yeah that game really slowed me down with tropies as well.  Now though it's more the end game trophies I'm working on.  Only have 6 of the 14 weapons trophies and having a hard time getting some of the stones I need, since I still have at least another play through and a half I'm not that conserned though.

I haven't spent much time yet reading up on those weapon trophies and what it takes to fully upgrade a weapon of each type. My understanding is that there are two generic upgrade paths: one using the Sharpstones, and one using Hardstones. Each time you upgrade with either of these stones, your weapon gets a +1, and will max out at +10. But there are other stones as well, like Clearstones for example. How does upgrading with these work? Do you have to upgrade a weapon to a certain level using the sharpstones and hardstones before branching out to these specific upgrade paths? If so, what't the difference between using sharpstones and hardstones as the base?
