Okay, now its time for you people to laugh and throw stones at me.

I WILL NOT BUY GOD OF WAR 3! INSTEAD, I WILL BUY JUST CAUSE 2!

I know, Im crazy. I just prefer JC2`s style even with all the bugs that will probably have and the repetitive missions.

SInce I also wanna save some money for Red Dead Redemption (My most wanted game!!!!!) in April, I had to make a choice and sorry Kratos, but that is a battle you lost.

Nice recommendation to mattbfg. I was going to recommend the same if no one had already. I got to say I'm absolutely loving Heavy Rain. Easily the best game I've played so far this year. Now I haven't played too much this year... but I would say its also better than 90% of the games I played last year. Heavy Rain is so unique and the story and acting are excellent along with some really intense action sequences (QTE's). I felt genuinely scared for my characters lives throughout and really cared about them. Felt some real sadness too for one of the main characters who after losing his son is very depressed and still trying to be a good father for his kid. Can't remember the last game that made me feel sad for a character. And the well written story kept me guessing on the identity of the origami killer all the way to the end.

It was also refreshing because this was the first game I didn't look at a trophy list before playing the game. I just played it and enjoyed it without thinking at all about trophies. I'm starting on my 2nd play through now going for the perfect crime trophy. I have also already seen a lot of the endings too by replaying the last few chapters over and over to change major decisions. Seeing all the endings is really the only time consuming and difficult trophy in the game.

I think the way the save system works is you can replay any chapter and keep the original chapters before that in tact with the older decisions you made. But the chapters after that would not automatically be altered by the new decisions so you have to play those again.

Last nights PSN problem stopped me from getting anymore trophies in Heavy Rain though. I'm still running my launch 60GB PS3 with a larger HDD. Anyone else experience problems playing games last night? I was very surprised that some single player games wouldn't even launch offline because they had to sync trophies first... that check would fail and it would kick me out of the game.

I also heard reports of people themes, and trophy data becoming corrupt for some games and disappearing off their trophy collection list. Luckily I didn't have any problems there.

The only other thing I noticed is my PS3's clock reset to 12/31/1999.
I'm thinking it might be a firmware bug on the older units. Maybe it didn't account for a leap year or maybe its the Y2K bug back again!?
I read on the Sony Playstation twitter that people with 120GB - 250GB slims were having no problems.

@Hideok
I'm scared to turn on my ps3 since its an 60GB PS3.

I think its a safe bet that any trophy data we have synced to Sony's servers will be fine and we can re-sync that data back to our PS3's if we have to. Probably be a couple Heavy Rain trophies that I will lose because I didn't sync them to Sony's servers in time.

Hopefully I won't lose my Heavy Rain save data though. I tried to back that up to a thumb drive, but its copy protected. I'll have to use my external drive to do a system backup. Haven't got around to that yet.

Hmmmm. God of War I & God of War 2 still don't show up on my trophy list. But neither does Heavy Rain.

Laughing at your choice... You mean the insanity of choosing Just Cause 2 over God of War III?

I don't find that funny at all... and now I don't think we can be friends anymore >Red Dead Redemption does look great though. Thats in my top 10 most wanted. God of War III is my #1.
Sure hope you at least rent God of War....
