Yeah your right. It really is a bad system. You could start up a second account and replay the easiest games. I agree that games released after the competition starts would be the best way to level the playing ground. I'm going to suggest that on their forum for their next competition.

I bet a vgchartz compiled team could win. I'm really curious to know what the prize is. If it was something really awesome it would make me ALMOST consider playing Hanna Montana. Almost... lol. Its funny they even mention Hanna Montana in the rules.

 

Terrible system they are using.  Is nothing stopping someone using a second account that already has a couple trophies only and looks real enough and then just playing the very easy games and earning loads.   It also means anyone who has gone all out trying to earn trophies already will be at a large disadvantage since they have less options.

 

They should have made it for games released after the competition starts only.

You don't really win anything in the contest, so anybody who would "cheat" with a new account is just a loser.

how do you know you don't win anything??

I'll probably rent Heavy Rain, as I don't feel like paying $60 for something like that right out of the box. Plus, it's not high on the priority list and there are so many damn games coming out anyways.
