quarter of the way there but its so punishing and i can't see me picking up any kills faster than the 100 an hour ratio im gettin :(

I got Prince of Persia & Bioshock platinums over the weekend. Props go out to rasone77 who I remember said he got all trophies on Survivor mode. Now I know what had to go through! It was pretty tough, but a very fun challenge. I felt like it forced me to play the game how it was meant to be played. Had to carefully plan my tonics & plasmids and use the environments around me to the fullest. Pitting enemies, turrets and security bots against each other it was so much fun!

If it wasn't for the ability to save anytime I'd say Bioshock platinum would be way harder than Call of Duty 5.
If anyone needs any tips for their survivor run let me know.

From the sounds of it I think I'm going to stay away from going for Resistance 2 platinum. Seems like it approaches Warhawk levels for time invested. How many hours have each of you guys played for?

Finally, I'm going to pick up SSHD remix & then the new Little Big Planet MGS4 pack tomorrow. I'm stoked to try out the new paintball gun and MGS levels. I'll probably get the character pack to support Konami as well. Then after that I'll be focused on Fallout 3 into the new year 2009. Should be kept busy with that until Killzone 2 & Resident Evil 5. Ah, it's such a good time to be a gamer

Already 40 hours lol! Most of em on the co-op mode, maybe 1-2 hours on the single mode and something like 10 hours on the competitive mode.

It's nowhere as bad as Warhawk.

I am 2400 kills away from the plat now and my pace keeps getting faster and faster as I am finally getting better.( my K/D is finally over 1 for the last 2500 kills, still at 0.9 overall though but I'm starting to win some deathmatchs and 90% of the game my K/D is over 1 these days).

By 5000 kills my kill per hour stats was 80, it's now 93 by 7600 kills and my guess is I am actually averaging 120 kills/hours right now, just my past kills are dragging the average. ( that's in game though, if you add the time in lobbies and stuff the actual is probably around 100 Kills per Hours).

Anyway I have 7600 kills with 3d 7h or so spent in competitive mode, I should have the plat shortly after I hit 4 days ( probably 4 days 3h or so).... A good players from the start could probably do it in 3 days....( 72 hours online, not rl days :p)

The thing in Resistance 2 that would be comparable to Warhawk would be going for all medals ( the 300 no death co-op games and the 5k competitive games ones would take ages, heck the top guy on the leaderboard with 32k kills only has played 2500 games or so..)

I got the Bioshock challenge rooms add-on this week end and it's actually fun but some of those speed run trophies are real hard.. ( DO not look for spoilers or it will break all the fun, those challenge rooms are a lot about puzzle solving and trying to find interesting ways to use the environment).

PS : Bioshock survivor wasn't that hard for me but I had played normal first, aside from the first 2 levels there are a lot of ways to use the environment and kill the hard enemies without taking too much risks...( and aside from big Daddies, Crossbow own all and ammo is plenty).

ail thats impressive but what competitve modes u doin to only get 1.o kill average?
just play skirmish and im on 1.8 but i envy that your near the golden target lol still can't figure out how sum ppl r gettin average 400 kills an hr crazy :)

hideo k the trophys are pretty easy part from the 10,000 kills shudnt take you long to most of it with your pedigree

The 400 kills/hour are people that only played a couple games and got lucky in those games...

The best players will win a deathmatch in 6 minutes or so, that's 10/hour for 250 kills/hour and it's hard to maintain over a long time...

The top ranked player with 40k kills and a K/D of 2.64 has an average of 176 kills/hour...

I actually average 138 kills/hour in Deathmatch, a lot lower in Team Death match and Skirmish though...

My K/D is low because I suck at fps and all those college guys are owning my ass :P ( I'm 36).

Right now it's over 1 for Skirmish and Deathmatch but it's only at like 0.8 for Team Deathmatch...

o man im looking forward to killing everything in RESISTANCE 2 it sounds great fun. Im also getting LBP CoD WaW and possibly Motorstorm and i think im going to go on Resistance first! 60 player online FTW!

oliminator you have just got to start r2 first lol think co-op is wer its the best but then again depends on ur blood lust whether b for the enemy or human fodder lol

with all those games ur in 4 one busy xmas beta have d ice packs 4 d hands ready lol

Even if i played constantly i dont think i would be able to get platenum in them all for at least 3 months
