I actually agree 100% with this thread. But I will say it's wasted, because fanboys cant help with those threads.

Give you a reason as to how bad this site has got. When I first joined their used to be posts of new trailers and info. For instance I posted today about Far Cry 2 and noone has posted on it. I'd say 80% of the users on these forums now dont actually care for the games, just about promoting whatever little plastic box they bought, which is gathering dust, because they are on these forums spouting utter rubbish.

Yes we should discuss sales. But I absolutely cringe at most of the shocking threads that are here. Go look at the 360 sells 6 million thread on home page to see another example. It mentions nowhere about shipped numbers and yet it is swarmed with opposite fanboys stating it's shipped. On top of that ioi created the thread.

I agree with most of this post, except if you think Wii fanboys are keeping tight lipped because they are humble, the best fanboys or whatever, you're out of your mind. If anything they are the most cunning

Reasons why Nintendo Fanboys are the least rampaging here:

- Victory is fleeting. Hello NES and SNES golden Era, followed up by N64 and GCN years. They know the tide will turn, so they don't want to gloat because they'll know they'll be burned.

- With the 360 and PS3 fanboys always at each others throats, why step in when you can watch two groups destroy each other and survive by being the "cowardly rat"

One last thing:

If you honestly believe that every "my ps3 broke" thread is made by a MS fanboy, then you must (to be fair) believe that every "My 360 RROD" thread is made by a Sony Fanboy. But you don't beieve that. Therefore, you're biased and are no better then any other fanboy in this site as you think the PS3 is bulletproof. (I'm half joking with this one).

My view on the fanboyism these days:

It's good when obvious fanboys have strong arguments with well substatiated thoughts to argue with. BUT it's also FUN when rampaging fanboys have new material, I don't mind seeing that, but getting "ZOMG RROD" or "PS3 HAZ noes games" gets old.
