This is a far fetched guess, but... I'm thinking the Jasper may very well be a slimline, given current wierd "clear the inventory" trends of the Falcon models, and the rumored "relaunch" that MS has set for the 25th.
I would wager that it is very different from the old design, if that's the case.
Wild speculation on my part. I swear I don't know any secrets or inside infoz. ;)

If they were a design flaw it would have been fixed by now.
