This is the worst thread ever. Like someone else said MGS 2 is MGS1 with better graphics. Far Cry 2 is Far Cry 1 with better graphics.
The thing with sequels to story is they have to be consistant to. Halo 3 I adored andI certainly bought and still play Halo 3 for the campaign. If you dont like it then thats fine. But 9 million people disagree with you.

Its got bikes too... Mario Kart is great. I think Mario Kart Wii is about to outsell Halo 3 so they surely did somethign right. My point was more that if you ake a calssic game like Halo 2, spice up the graphics and add some new guns and features like 4 player coop and Forge and theater modes...and call it Halo 3...you shouldn't be blasted on a forum. Since pretty much every major franchise is doing it...

Yes they did. They put both "wii" and "mario" in the title.
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

completely agree with you on this.
@shadowblind, was it called Kart: double dash last gen?, mario kart always sold great in every gen so its not really surprise that it sold so well, with the wii's increased base it was bound to outsell its predecessors.
damn we sure have gone way off topic, but this thread is pretty much done anyways.
