Holy shit, this thing works way better than I ever thought it would.

Has anyone else tried it?

Well, I tried it on my brother's iPod touch.

Works like a charm.

I don't know how they do it, but it's so awesomely awesome.

Intsalled it yesterday. Haven't tried it yet.
Maybe I should...

I'll need a bit more motivation though :P

I thought I would throw the feature a curveball and give it a Morrissey song... It responded with a list of songs from bands like Blur, REM, Pulp, Elvis Costello, Bowie, and Flaming Lips, amongst others.

Impressive.

It works ok, could be better.

Bah. It was working so well until it recommended me Panic at the Disco.
NO! Bad Genius.

Other than that, this is pretty cool. Found some good stuff I'd forgotten all about.

Same here. It pulled up an Innocence Mission song and I almost shit myself.

I haven't listened to that band in years.

What is this genius feature you speak of??

Yeah, Apple's gathering my library information as I speak.

A little pissed that I had to hand my card details over, not that I don't think their safe, but I don't think I can trust myself with "click and its yours" buys. I have enough problems with 1-click-buying on Amazon! Let alone have it download straight off and not having to wait for delivery.

I think genius works better than pandora. sometimes what it recommends doesnt seem to make sense but when you listen to the playlist it always works with the style or mood. prety cool.
