Wait what!? Your telling to watch the definition of mediocre ecchi anime Maburaho over Zero No Tsukaima!? Never.

Black Lagoon is not mindless action. Theres a point to all of it and Seinen which is something you need after watching too much mainstream shonen anime. I like hellsing though so I wont argue there but
ssj12 IF YOURE GONNA WATCH HELLSING WATCH THE OVAs!!!

Black Lagoon was pretty weak when I saw it.  Of course, I only watched the first season when it came out.  I basically stopped caring about it after that so I haven't seen 2 or 3.

Most harem anime really seem mediocre after watching Love Hina, Dual, and Tenchi honestly.  Zero no Tsukaima was cute but the pairing was annoying and the show never went anywhere.

ZnT:  Main character ends up in a fantasy world.  Only he can use modern weapons (magic powers included).

Maburaho:  Everyone in the world can use magic but they all have a magic count.  Every time they use magic their counter goes down.  When it hits 0, they die.  The main character is probably the most powerful mage in the world but he only has 7 uses of magic.  Dun dun dun.

I like the premise of Maburaho more even if it's still not much compared to the above three.

try golden boy or GTO if you have not seen it

GTO is a much better read than a watch, in my opinion.

It's still pretty hilarious in "The Principle" kind of way.

SSJ12, u never take wat DB writes as them being serious. In the years that I have been watching naruto and bleach from them, they have said that they will stop subbing naruto or bleach multiple times, I pay them no mind and sure enough, the following thursday, they have a new naruto eps up. That link was back in july when they said they were dropping shippudden, 3 months later they are still subbing it.

double post.

Wow ssj12, you have seen some good anime, but you are missing some of the best comedy animes!

You have to watch:

GTO
Fruits Basket
Chobits

An self-professed anime fan cannot be whole without watching those.

If you are a Gundam fan, you will love Code Geass too. Its really smart, even by anime standards, especially the first season. Second season starts off a little slow, but it picks up. I need to finish the last quarter of the series to see how it turns out.

I am convinced that anyone who likes Fruits Basket is secretly a masochist.

yes, I have the second movie. I want the first. The book is freaking amazing.

I still want the King of Hell mange turned into an anime... it is by far 1000000000000 times better then most series. It is funny as heck but has action scenes that are insanely awesome.

Lol, why?  Its hillarious, and the show really tears you up at the end.  It's really moving on a lot of different levels.  I cried.
