Lord of the Rings - The book has so much stuff they skipped in the film, such as retaking the shire which is a great bit of the book, The Hobbit was good as well, but nowhere near as deep as LOTR.

Most of John Grisham's stuff

Used to be a fan of Artemis Fowl and Alex Rider books when I was a bit younger :P

And liked Harry Potter up to the 5th one, went it went all over my head.
