Didn't even realise MS were after any Wii third party exclusives? Surely most of 'em wouldn't work on 360?

Perhaps they changed their minds after they decided that they were not going to beat the wii. I'm assuming that this promise was sometime before they recently announced that the wii was out of their sights.

Only WII titles I want are all Nintendo, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Super smash bros and metroid

Some of the top guys from Platinum Games (formerly Clover Studios) were the lead designers on titles like Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.

For me, that is nothing. Maybe it is because I don't like almost any japanese games other than jrpg:s. :)

Hm, the reaction to this thread has made me consider my own Wii collection.

I have 17 retail Wii games. Of those, 12 are exclusive. Of those exclusives, 5 are third party games. To name them, Blast Works, Boom Blox, No More Heroes, Trauma Center: New Blood, and Zack & Wiki.

So Microsoft has a chance to steal about 30% of my games collection for the 360. That's not bad at all. And things will swing even more to third party exclusives in the near future, since de Blob, Samba de Amigo, Sam & Max and Deadly Creatures are the games I'm most interested in owning before the year is out, not to mention '09 releases.

Scoop!!! After exhausting confidential negotiations, MS managed to secure from Nintendo itself the timed exclusive of the up until now secret project "Super Mario Poo" for only $1billion. Details about the new game are vague and scarce, the only sure thing is that the game's dominant colour, departing from garish big N tradition, will perfectly match the most distinctive Zune model and, er, ehm, Quake. Both parts refused to release other comments than "It was a bargain".
