Dreamcast was the way it was meant to be played... but if you played the gamecube ones, i am not sure you would get a different experience.

I suggest you give your sonic cravings a rest unitl unleashed this holiday season :)

I was a longtime Nintendo fan who's first Sega console was the Dreamcast, and my first game was SA1, I was blown away and enjoyed every minute of it. SA2 does have multi-player and chao kindergarden in it, so get them both and play them on the console they were meant for. They are generally(arguably) considered to be the last (so far) of the good sonic games from Sega.
