Good choices, you should also get Nocturne, but only if you're ready to play a very challenging game. Though it's so satisfying when you beat it.

I prefer Tales.
I would recommend them both, but SMT if I had to choose one.
Haven't played SMT, but i love the Tales of series.
Might even consider picking up a 360 sometime in Christmas, just for Vesperia (and Fable 2, of course).

The only games I've enjoyed in all of their games are Symphonia and Persona3FES.
