Well ,for the raw data that interest us .PLAYSTATION 3 has sold some 194 000 units in Spain and 22 000 in Portugal .It has sold more than 1.2 million consoles in Europe or the Pal area (it isnt very clear in this data ) .And in Spain and Portugal it has already surpassed the 360 and is about equal with the Wii . 

Seems to underline my believes that the Other Regions section of the sales tracking by VGChartz is off quite a bit. BTW any idea if Russia is considered to be Europe or Asia with regard to sales tracking?

I am sure ioi will take it into consideration, but there needs to be more definitive data than that to make a full consideration and updating the numbers with just 1 site.

Well, it is possible that ioi is undertracking PS3 sales in Spain. SCEE says itself that its territory includes 101 different countries and seems to be made up of all PAL territory (so Australia is included). If PS3 in Spain is indeed indeed 60k higher than VGchartz states that would put others almost exactly at 1.2M, just like stated in this article. It is however unclear where this data comes from, it would be better to have an independent source.

Maybe Ioi is just undertracking Spain and Portugal sales for the PS3 ,if you adjust the number with this then all the other numbers would fit exactly .

i live in spain, and i doubt that ps3 is near of the wii in sales, because in software rarely ps3 sells more than wii(official data, adese), wii play is always in the top ten, and there is no ps3 games in top ten since months ago. unless people buy consoles without buying software , (like in Japan) but i doubt it.
