I thought it was part of the game and "intentional" (According to Molyneux). If it's intentional, why patch it?

Yeah, I never bought that for a second.  The Pub Games trick is a true glitch in the game where you're essentially tricking the game into giving you more money.  If they were going to put something like that in there on purpose, that's not how they would have done it.  And then surprise surprise, the glitch was patched out shortly after that interview. 

Honestly, you don't need the glitch anyway.  I figured out a virtually fool proof technique to Fortune's Tower that is well within the rules of the game and can end up making you tons of gold LEGALLY.  I never once used that glitch, because I never took the time to read about how to do it.  The spinner box game will bleed you dry, and the keystone game is 50/50 at best.  The really money comes from Fortune's Tower, and you can BANK playing that game.

The glitch was start fortunes tower with a minimum bet. Hit the deal button then hit the LB and it would max your bet without removing any more money from your betting pool. Anyone wanting to buy all of albion out of the gate could do so if the wanted to because you can rack up gold fast.

I agree its higly doubtful that they would patch an "intentional" glitch. Kinda sad I wanted to get all the tournament items. This was a good way to finace the massive losses it would take to win a spinnerbox tournament without incuring thousands in debt.
