The only thing that glaringly disagrees with you is Rachet; both cartoony and a platformer.

But, I agree with you. Many PS3 owners will purchase this based on hype, have fun with the game for a while, and give up. Of course there will be those few that become addicted to it and rape Youtube with their creations...

I disagree. I think it'll hit the middle ground.

It will have sold enough to be considered a success, but I highly doubt anything spectacular. It's already garnered the support of the 'hardcores,' but I don't seeing it breaking into the casual market, hence my prediction of "middle ground."

I understand what you are trying to say. Keep one thing in mind though, I am talking strictly from the standpoint of how good the game actually is. The game does not have to appeal to everybody but it could still be amazing.
