If you are talking about mainstream stuff released this year, DQ9 get it. So, anyway you cut it the RPG of the year will be a Square-Enix game on DS. Those are the best games but as far as which game will win best consoles RPG of 2008, either Fallout 3 or Fable II is my guess. |
Even money that this is true, but most of the awards will end up going to Fallout 3, for which I have high hopes.
Lost Odyssey, I'm a sucker for traditional turn based jrpg's and this one is superb. It just looks just so beautiful, the graphics are stunning, the story is much better than most jrpgs that seem to be written for 12 year olds. The combat is a very good turn based system with timing added kinda like super mario rpg etc.
Its made by a ex-final fantasy guy and is a much better game than recent final fantasy games.

I'm more excited personally about Fable II. but I think GotY will and shill go to Fallout 3.

I agree
Now you're playing with power!
Now you're playing with power. Super Power!
Now you're playing with power. Portable Power!
Touching is good. Touch Me
I'll only be playing two games for the remainder of the year.
And those two are Fallout 3 and Fable II.

meh, I rented this and it is mediocre at best.
Fable 2 or Fallout 3 both arent out but from what I have seen they look tremendous
PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.
Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game
