^ yeah but then that would be the atoms of the actual TV and light stuffs, rather than what the image is of.

Win! Haha that reminds me of Kat Williams talking to his son on the DVD Pimp Chronicles. His son says "I want an XBOX 360" and Kat says well what's the point you don't got High Definition Eyeballs so you're just wasting it!
Resolution is dictated by the receptors in the eye. It differs from person to person
Interesting point though is that there is a finite resolution and our brain even suffers from the old anti aliasing problem and jaggies from time to time.
Go to any buiding with air vents on the top and back away eventually you will reach a point where the light image of one line of a single vent strikes the back of your eye in two different places. ie two receptors are firing the light strike !
The brain doesnt know what to do so just presents all the information at once. Result the whole vent begins to resemble a TV screen thats not tuned in. Ie snowstorm.
You need to be about half a mile or more away from the vent for this to work.
It depends on your viewing distance too. If you watch an HD tv from far away you cant differentiate HD from SD.

We are not made of data |
Please, just stick up yourself to gaming fanboysm, in that matter you already say to much crazy things.
Leo-j, here I have a little lesson about phisics and biology:
Actually, considering quantun phisics, everything IS data.
But, completely disconsidering that:
We can perceive, in idle conditions, 1m² when 3000 km away from us.
Eyes recieve light, it passes through eye's lens, than the light stimulates rod cells and cone cells.
The optical nerve transmits that DATA to the brain, wich translate and invert that image DATA.
It doesn't matter if the universe is DATA or not (it is, by the way. Since organization in universe needs DATA. Read about entropy), our brain perceives the world because it can tranlate the DATA transmited through the optical nerve.
Also, human don't hear echoes if the rebounced sound waves reach our ears till 0,1 seconds after the first time we heard them first time.
We also just hear from 20Hz to 20.000Hz range.
If the blood's pH change 0,1-0,2 humans may faint. Sometimes is even lethal.
Humans can only live in places where O2 partial pression isn't less than 0,1atm or above 0,5atm.
