Civilization II. A game I can play for a year non-stop must be addictive. When I got my hands on one, ít was the only game I could play, awesome, the best of the series, but CIV IV is not that far behind...

The Sims... Limitless stories, challenge, building and creating. Not the type of game everyone would play (like uncreative people) but for those who do, it's a game you play for many years. ^^

Then I'd say Civilisation IV... It's amazing, imo, I could play this for hours using different maps, number of players, difficulty and multiplayer is great. I really like to play it with my bf. :3
