Microsoft seems to be assembling quite the dream team for this project...

They seem to be getting a lot of the "best of the best" talent for this project.

i thought he left so he can spend time with his family for awhile before doing anymore projects?

He left to be closer to home because one of his family members was in bad condition. Going off the bluray making of MGS4, he appears to be a real family man, living in Japan would be a great obsticle if there was a big problem with family back in the U.S.

yeah i doubt this rumor is true. but it could be seems how he is back in the US, still unlikely.

I could care less, as long as he doesn't screw everything up.

He moves back to the States so he can be close to his family.  His family is in Washington area (I read from somewhere that he came from Vancouver, WA) so working Microsoft would allow him to stay close to his family since MS is in Redmond.
