Forums - General - How many posts until I can become popular?

I'm kinda new here... well. I have been a reader since January 2007, but started posting here just recently.

I was very active at Joystiq, very popular over there... but here is different... the community is great over here.

I hope I can become popular here someday =p

everybody know you on joystick, but that isn't a good reputation fernando.

;)

Popular is over-rated

Look at Gballzack and wiiforever they're popular but they're also not on the site anymore.

Just make intelligent posts and people will remember you.

I'm kinda the official Nintendo Fanboy over Joystiq =p

Too bad the site is very Wii hater now, since the E3... the site is very annoying to read now: bloggers and commenter are very haters now.

That's why I left the site.

It's not the amount that makes you popular, it's the content.

Yee, plenty of high count posters here who are not worth listening to.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

oi. I may not agree with everything that you normally say. But I hate how people turn against a company because they do something "wrong." I completely understand why you left Joystiq then.

Yeah, I mean, I can understand the hate of the commenters. But the bloggers (they even call themselfs Journalists sometimes) are haters now, and that's not professional or ethical. They only report the bad news, the bad games, take the Nintendo people out of context, etc.
