I think that crazy fucker Bachmann throwing her job away is also another good catalyst for the approaching Democratic landslide. It helped people remember that the executive branch isn't the only one that needs some plumbing. It's time to clean all the pipes.

@final-fan, HOLY HELL.  Once again, she's 100 times funnier when you read it instead of see/hear it happen.  And I can't believe how she fucked up the follow-up and didn't realize how insane she was.  Oh man.  I'm really gonna miss her.

Sarah Palin is just the gift that keeps on giving. McCain must really be getting senile in his old age if he was dumb enough to pick her. Throughout the post-primary season, he seemed like he was trying to appease the conservative base, which is NOT what you should try to do to get elected, especially when your party is incredibly unpopular.

If you would have asked me before the main election cycle started, I would have told you McCain would have tried to run as moderate of a campaign as possible, but in actuality he has been running as conservative a campaign as possible.

He really doomed himself for failure from Day 1 by running a non-substantive, tax-cutting, fearmongering, traditional Republican campaign rather than a substantive one that sought to incorporate moderates and Democrats.

Did you see his face in that video? He looked more patronizing than when he did the same at the debate.

I'm really starting to feel like he's not even trying anymore. It makes me mad. While I support Obama, the thing that keeps us strong, despite only having two parties in congress, is open dialog. If he isn't even trying that screws up our whole system.
