final- A lot of McCain's methods for paying for proposals come from budget freezes, oversight committees on all gov't agencies, pork-reduction, and finishing the Iraq war responsibly and in a manner that is best for both the US and Iraq.

I would also advise you to watch the last debate as he will outline more specifics on this. Thanks for your interest in the campaign!

McCain is still going to increase federal spending. I believe he would raise spending by approximately $100 billion. I find it most disheartening that McCain would show such blatant disregard for fiscal responsibility.

Hmm, your discourse seems a lot less animated than usual.  You're reading like a press release.  I guess this is you in "professional mode"?

On the one hand, I am a bit disappointed that all I'll be getting out of you from now on is regurgitated campaign talking points and a redirect to the campaign website.  On the other, our debate might have taken over the thread and I wouldn't have wanted that.

Just wanted to point that out.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

It's hard to sound animated when you're backed into a corner... I commend him for not scurrying out of the thread though, most would have done so before getting to that point.

final - I would ask you to read this article.
http://www.nypost.com/seven/10152008/postopinion/editorials/obama_tells_the_tax_truth_133633.htm

It contains a statement made by Obama on his tax plan. Also, if there is any other ?s, please do not hesitate to ask. (No this is not me in "professional" mode-I changed my mind and I just do not want to waste time with arguments!)

By the way... no matter who the next president is, he's going to have a really hard time managing the budget.

High unemployment is expected, which means less taxpayers and more people getting unemployment benefits. Good luck balancing the budget if things go that way...

It starts in New York:

halogamer is such a tool. That was a sad display. "I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm probably right for reasons I can't explain, please visit these websites and call these people, and have a nice day!"

You changed your mind and don't want to waste time with arguments. How convenient when you can't back anything up.
