Well, 360 has 4 great sandbox games, but of these 4 which do you think is the best?

I would say.................

1. Dead rising (Pure magic, Challenging and fresh bosses, Various ways to kill enemies (Frying pans, Frisbys ect)

2. Crackdown (Great fun, lots of destruction, Superhuman incredible hulk type jumps , fun co-op)

3. GTA IV (Its GTA, unfortunately, not how most people remembered it, Still plenty to do though)

4. Saints row (Good game but still lacks the polish of a GTA game)

All time fave sandbox....... GTA: Vice city (Memorable, Charismatic, Funny and genuinely well acted characters, The 80's miami style setting was done brilliantly, Memorable soundtrack, Fun fun fun)

Whats your thoughts? (Even if you don't own all of them. just mention the ones you have and whats so good or maybe bad about them)

GTA by a country mile!

i own crackdown and saints row. ive played gta4 though.

i enjoyed crackdown the most. tbh, i think what i most enjoyed about it was just jumping around the city doing the foot races and collecting the orbs.
saints row was pretty good though too....i dont think id ever call a GTA game polished... i thought saints row matched previous GTAs pretty well...right down to the amount of bugs. i liked the activites. i liked the mp3 player. i liked the player create (i made Spock [from star trek]).
i didnt like gta4 at all.

I wouldn't really call Dead Rising a sandbox game; the structure is far too limiting and linear to include it. That's not to say that it isn't fantastic, however.

As for the rest, my choice is definitely Crackdown, which I enjoyed far more than GTA IV. I've only played the demo of Saint's Row, but found it to be far less entertaining than Crackdown.

Mercenaries 2

Because I haven't played mercenaries 2 (yet) or The Outfit I really can't say which is the definite "best". but here are my top 3:

1. Crackdown
2. Dead Rising
3. Just Cause

GTAIV by faaaaaaaaar.

2. Saints Row.
3. Dead Rising.
4. Crackdown.

GTA4 or Dead Rising...the other 2 are not in the same league.
