That's some absolutely absurd logic, man. Of course the 20 free songs are gonna be good because there will be 500 songs available? No.

I expect them to not be good.

To unlock ALL Rock Band 2 songs straight away:

You simply input the original “Rock Band” unlock code — Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue — in the game modifier screen.

I never really had a huge problem either. I was just wondering if anybody else noticed a difference or I was just seeing things that weren't there. I haven't played Rock Band 1 in about 2-3 weeks and last night I was hitting some hard hammer-on sections that I would have struggled with before. Maybe my game was calibrated a little better than the first I dunno. Maybe "beginner's luck". Was just curious :)

By the way, am I the only one who thinks they should just let us pick 20 of our favorite songs from the list of DLC they have up instead of them picking 20 free songs that will most likely blow and be unknown bands or more of harmonix's "inside" crap bands? Anybody who thinks they would leave off huge/popular/good songs off the game to be added later is fooling themselves.

Sorry, I would have responded earlier, but I was too busy playing Rock Band 2. You are wrong, you can go through World Tour mode all by yourself. I did it today, for a good long while.

So They still have the same Solo career progression in the Challenges, AND you can play through the WT mode solo. They have something for both types of fans.

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.
