I hope nintendo does. I'm more intrested in their next handheld right now.

Nintendo..since the PSP won't change much..it'll either get redesigns or die..or ofcoure..have a sequel
but not for a long time..and the new Nintendo handheld won't come anytime soon..

I love these threads. Fanboys come in and say the company that opposes their favorite will release first while completely ignoring any kind of logic or historical basis.

To break this trend I will say Sony and explain why. The PSP currently has less than half the sales of the DS and the gap is growing larger. While they have been very successful in Nintendo's strongest are they are still getting curb stomped by the absolutely amazing sales of the DS. Even with the PSP's very good sales it is not the market leader by a lot. Factor in that Nintendo has a long history of not being the first to market in a new generation, and that Sony has no reservations on starting one I cannot see why it would go down any other way.

Sony is still refining their psp strategy and exploring new distribution methods(downloads) and finding ways to combat piracy I believe it will be another 2 years until either reveal but I believe Sony would wait until TGS while Nintendo will go at E3.

Nintendo has perfected their DS strategy and will wait out its success a little bit longer the new handheld is probably ready to go but they had the same strategy as with the GBC and the GBA.

Sony is profiting on the psp not as much as nintendo and the psp is rising so they won'y want to kill it off quickly either just because they have so many possibilites to explore for the successor.

Nintendo since Sony want to make all their console/handhelds to last like a good while before coming out with a new product.

I am hoping for them to be released at the same time.

They have their iPhone and iPod Touch so i dont see them releasing a totally new device for gaming.
