I think it will be, as long as you're not a hardcore fan.

All 5 of them so far have been very well done, and have left me with no complaints.

That being said, the fact that this game was transferred to an American team has kind of turned me off, to be honest. Not to say that an American team can't make a good game, quite to the contrary, but because Americans suck at horror.

It's hard to say. The switch to The Collective won't do good, and Origins was bad, I haven't played 4 but most say it wasn't very good, maybe the series is going a bit downhill. I know Yamaoka is still helping with the game, but I'm afraid there's a high chance we won't see it reach the greatness of the first three. Of course I'll be the happiest if it does happen, though

I don't know; the series has been going downhill, imo, and I'm not fond of the American team working on it, but the previews have been positive towards the controls and story. I don't have that much hope for it.

The first SH game was great. Great story, characters and atmosphere. The game was very fun, especially that sewer part toward the end. Silent Hill 2 is a masterpiece. The storyline and telling is amazing. The atmosphere was well done, and it's the only game that made me sleep with a nightlight. Silent Hill 3 was also great. Story, characters, etc was well done, and it was a great sequel for the first one. SH4 was disappointing. It wasn't as scary as the previous ones, and I didn't like the portals thing. It was an interesting idea though about being locked in the room. The story was alright, but those ghosts were very annoying. Origins wasn't good. The story sucked, and there was no good reason to go to Silent Hill.
