Impulsivity on 11 September 2008
I am very much a supporter of year 2000 McCain. Unfortunately year 2000 McCain who called the religious right agents of intolerance, the Bush tax cuts fiscally irresponsible and pushed for meaningful campaign finance reform is not running this year (in his place we have 2008 McCain who is more or less for everything 2000 McCain was against).
2008 McCain who puts a Bush like fundamentalist on the ticket, wants to make the 400 billion dollar deficit even worse next year with more Bush tax cuts and talks about how he would not sign legislation he put forward as a senator? No thanks on that one.
If the old non neo-con year 2000 John McCain shows up though, let me know.
