I have one because of the fighting games on it, but i thought it was a POS system.

Would I be wrong in saying a lot of former Sega fans have gone to the Xbox and now see MS as 'the new Sega'?

you're not wrong...I can't explain why but MS seemed like a company to go for after Sega fell off the map. MS seems to have continued the online model sega was trying to accomplish...but there is more...I don't know what tho...

 You'd kinda be wrong as Sega focuses way more on Nintendo and Sony than Microsoft. And I'm sure a lot of dreamcast owners had PS2s. The again Microsoft did design the OS for the dreamcast.....

Ive said it before and il say it again...naming it Dreamcast was a mistake. Anything would have been a better name than that.

The games were excellent (Shenmue in particular) but when you give a console a crappy name, it isnt going to appeal to the masses

The DreamCast and Saturn were never been available in my country, so I was shocked that Sega had a console other than the Genesis out.

The only thing the Genesis was known for was Sonic games, The SNES was WAY more famous here, and it had a great library of games too.

Never touched a Sega system (expect when I go to my aunt's house to play Sonic there for few times).

So yeah, I grew up with Nintendo ^_^
