I went to target and meijer and the 360 was the same old price. Mabye only the new 360s are at a lower price?

Sounds like a store manager/dept manager isn't doing their job. This happens.

Yeh it's hit my area. Wal-Mart, Target, and Bestbuy are all sporting the new SKUs. I asked the guy there if they had any arcades  models left and he said they were sold out early saturday morning of both the Premium and Arcades models and he only had a couple Elites left. Water droplet in a 5 gallon tub for what its worth mind you in terms of sales. Hopefully the sales manager will get the correct prices, for the consumers sake.

It was often a trick that we used in my old store to "lie" about when we sold some consoles by changing the date of sale so that we could get price protection on stock already sold. It was very sneaky. We did it so we could improve our profit #s as the stores were competing.

But are they still selling well Toastboy? Maybe some customers didnt know the original price and are buying them thinking they have been reduced

No price cut at my Target either, walked over on my lunch break. Funny thing is that they had no PS3's in stock and 3 Wii's (which they never have). Fully stocked on the 360s.
