its already well known that obama is friends with terrorists, criminals and hatemongers.

Amen.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Republicans don't have any problem with minorities voting and don't try to scare them out of voting, however, Democrats DO try to scare minorities INTO voting, but that's a different topic.

Its sad to see somebody that has the ability to write coherently dribble such stuff from their keyboard.

Republicans do have a problem with minorities voting.  Why?  Because a large portion of minorities support Democrats, and there are several instances of Republicans trying to fool minorities out of voting.  Demcorats want minorities to vote because, as stated before, they usually vote for Democrats.

Thats why you dont see Republicans staging 'get out the vote' drives in the inner city, but you do see them in small towns, a mirror opposite for many pro-Democrat groups.

So does that mean democrats have a problem with white people voting and people from small towns voting?

LOL

Not only is your claim that Democrats don't want to prevent some people from voting is wrong; but your claim that Republicans don't participate in "get out and vote" efforts is factually wrong.

Really? Like hanging chads? I'm sorry, but insinuating that minorities can be 'fooled' out of voting is very insulting to their intelligence as a group. It's like when the dems were arguing that the complicated ballot in florida affected minirities more, THAT was very insulting to them as well. Are they saying minorities aren't smart enough to figure it out? Who's being racist in this case?

Also, the logic of 'because those people don't vote for them, republicans don't want them to vote at all' is an assumption by you, and is not a valid argument. Like Kasz said, following that line of reasoning would say that Dems don't want white people or small town people to vote, and that's not true either.

And if you're going to attempt to call me 'incoherent', which is what I think you were trying to do (after pulling out my decoder ring on your first line), please at least try to use proper english when doing so. Thanks.

First and foremost, let me apologize to you for writing on too high a reading level.  I did not call you incoherent, I specifically said that you wrote coherently.  Last time I checked the English language that was a compliment.  I did say that your opinions make me sad because they are wrong and they come from someone who can write coherently.  If my cat ate his own shit I wouldn't be upset because I cant really expect more from a simple animal, but if my grown neighbor ate his own shit it would make me upset because I expect better from him.

Republicans would be the 'racist' ones because there are several instances of Republicans trying to trick minorities into not voting, such as telling them that Democrats vote on a sperate day from Republicans, and that date being after the election.  Republicans did not do this in some small town, Alabama for obvious reasons.  Democrats have done the same thing in Republican prone areas, so there is no right and wrong party here.

Your ridiculous comment that Democrats are bad for scaring people into voting is laughable.  "My bad doctor scared me into going to the hospital for my chest pain," is equally as ridiculous.  I guess you also believe that Republicans aren't trying to scare their followers into voting, which would be wrong as the facts show the contrary.  I'll give you a hint, commerical of Tenessee black politician with white girls to create racial 'scare' among voters with racist tendencies.

Kasz:  Yes, I'm saying that both Democrats and Republicans are to blame for wrongdoing.

Senseiobaka: Learn to read, perhaps Kasz can give you lessons.  Your reply is utterly ridiculous.
