Amazon Offering a Great Deal on 360 Elite

What would you say if I told you that you could buy an Xbox 360 Elite for $339? You'd probably tell me that I was crazy and then ask me if I was serious. Well, I'm serious! For a limited time, Amazon is offering a pretty amazing price on the 360 Elite. While you won't be able to buy the system for $339, you will be given a $60 gift card when you buy the Elite for $399. Definitely one of the better deals I've seen on the Elite model and if you've been looking to grab a 360, you can't go wrong with 120 GB of pure storage potential.

For a limited time, when you buy an Xbox 360 Elite in our Video Games Store, you will qualify to receive a $60.00 Amazon.com Gift Card*. An email will be sent out by September 30, 2008 and will include the Amazon.com Gift Card and redemption instructions. This offer applies only to the purchase of an Xbox 360 Elite console offered by Amazon.com and does not apply to products sold on our site by third-party merchants or through third-party areas such as Amazon.com Marketplace or Auctions. Limit one per household. -- Amazon

I currently own a premium model and I'm almost tempted to jump on this deal. It's basically like getting the system with any game of your choosing for the regular price of $399. Plus it's black. That means it's better.

nice =)

Wish I had the money. I've never been fond of Ipod white.

So it's still 400 but you get a gift card, that you have to use on Amazon, I presume?

Well, it's better than buying the Elite and getting nothing

Do you have to find fault with everything about the 360?

No.  No I don't.

I just don't have my pair of rose-colored glasses handy.

Its Ironic really, that they are taking their most profitable SKU and cutting its price by $60 and yet its probably still more profitable at that price than a 2008 manufactured Falcon Premium.

I guess they deserve, *gasp* to actually make a profit on these units at this point in time.

Tease.

I have some, they are really cool. Just don't wear them in public, I get the impression that they are commonly worn by a group of people who should see their Orthapedic specialist about their wrist bone density.
