As other has already been expressed... I don't understand what the new display techonlogy has to do with Blue-Ray discs lol...
Btw, for those who said you'll only see 50GB blue-ray discs on market...

Hitachi's experimental 100GB Blue-Ray only requires Firmware update for standard blue-ray to be workable, and that's EASILY distributed on the PS3.
