Take-Two's earning statement confirms BioShock 2 is coming in fiscal year 2009. That would likely put its release sometime next holiday season.

The report's formatting initially had PS3, Xbox 360 and PC next to BioShock 2 but it has since been revised with "TBA." With BioShock coming to PS3 shortly the odds of BioShock 2 being developed for both consoles are worth betting on. Whether it will appear on Xbox 360 first as a timed exclusive remains to be seen.

The report also states Grand Theft Auto IV has sold over 10 million copies worldwide as of August 16.

Also selling strong is Carnival Games on Wii and DS which combined have moved over 2 million units.

Other notable items in the release is a fiscal 2009 launch for Borderlands 2 and Superstars Wii NBA, the basketball version of MLB Superstars.

I wonder if it will not be more of the same (Bioshock 2). Bioshock is awesome but at the end of the game I felt I was forcing myself trough the levels. I hope it will be original.

Wow why are we blatanly overtracking carnival Games on Wii haha. Sales are at 2 million when realistically they should be at about 1.5-1.7 million range. Oh well.

Cool for Bioshock 2 though. Many should be happy about that.

Bioshock 2 will be on the PS3 but....i doubt it will be released at the same time as the 360 version

Hopefully it will be a simultaneous release. No point alienating a large portion of the market and it will mean they only need to promote the release once.

This gives me more time to play the first. I still need to get that game back from one of my peeps!!!

The original was great....I hope the 2nd lives up to the first.
