Forums - Microsoft - Xbox smokes out family home in canada - fire evacuation

@Skeeuk

The similarities between you and me are that we both like street fighter. And we both want our console of choice to win the HD war.

However the difference is that you purposely post articles like this that are from 3 years ago in order to try to hurt 360 sales and reputation...there really is no need for a topic like this, or saying that some xbox live user raped a dog.

the original xbox had a recall on its power cord and sent new ones out

It's just one incident. Maybe it was modded etc.....

Nothing to see here, move along.

This is kind of off topic but Cochrane is a pretty small town. It's close to Calgary Alberta (over 1 million people). They are best known for their ice cream shop if you can believe that...

Just kiss the tip.

Xbox tries to kills people confirmed?

jk

Not to be funny, but back in 2006 when I was at UNC Pembroke, there was a drive by shooting over a PS3. Then there was an article I HAD from IGN on a boy being shot and killed by a police officer in Wilmington about a PS3. The boy had stole the system from someone else (can't remember the whole article), but when the police forced him outside, he came out with a PS3 DualShock controller in his hands. The one officer thought it was a gun, and fired on the teenager. So yeah, there is a lot of violence concerning video games, and not being funny when it deals with crimes and death in real life over them.

Where does this mention the 360? I read original XBox but not 360.

This is old news, and there are some idiots/people who never got their new power cord despite the recall. People don't read throughly.

It's just that simple.

now its unimaginable :/

There have been many pieces of electronics that have caused housefires, do you feel they shouldn't be sold as well?  What about the PSP?  Here's a story about how the battery in one exploded in a boys pants causing severe burns on his legs.

they use li-ion batteries, not only imflamable but the reason its usually because people buy chinese rip off.

as it happen with cellphone notebooks, its always the batteries.
